D6 fuel, often referred to as Residual Fuel Oil or Bunker C, is a high viscosity fuel primarily designed for large-scale industrial applications like industrial furnaces, power generators, and marine engines. This fuel is separated during the end phases of crude oil distillation and must be preheated to reduce viscosity so that it can perform optimally in these large systems.
